My New Life, Tapping Moments, and Lovee
I have so much to catch up on writing here, I had no idea where I could possibly begin to express how amazingly blessed I am...So I thought I would start with this video, and see where it takes me. Stephanie Neilson's story is one of the most inspiring I have ever heard. I admire her so much. When I grow up I want to be her. I admire her faith, her drive, and the love for her children and her husband that is so overwhelming that you can feel it as you read the things she writes and listen to her speak. She is the kind of wife, mother, and woman that I hope to be. At one point in this amazing video she says "There are moments in my life where I feel like my spirit is tapping my heart to remind me just why I still mortally exist." I haven't been through anything as trying as Stephanie, but I do believe that Heavenly Father won't give us more than we can handle, and even in the times when I feel like I have taken all that I can take, those tapping moments are there, pushing me to remember that I am a daughter of my Father in Heaven, and I have things to accomplish here on earth. I have had a lot of those moments in this last little while, here are just a few...
-recieving my patriarcal blessing
-watching Rachael dance again
-long, comforting, sweet talks with Babe
-my trip with the boys, seeing Eric and Hannah and feeling the pure joy that radiated from them at their reception, sharing what will probably be my last dance with Gerber, and getting to catch up with the girls
-staying with my sweet Ashley, and knowing that she will always be my other little sister
-talking with Shell bell and being comfortable no matter how much time has passed
-having Mike call and tell me that the only reason he was crying during his self defense lesson was because he was thinking of Me and Eberly, knowing that he really does love and care about me and the boys, his "other" children
-helping Delaney with her super-sized iPhone
-the Saturday I got to spend with sweet little Logan
-being with Riana when she got her award at school
-getting to be at Casey and Joy's reception, catching the boquet
-Little Katie making me promise to come see her more often
-having the chance to speak to the graduating Laurels at their fireside
-being asked to sing at Shelly's baptism
-having my Kara cousin working two doors down when I needed her most
There are so many, many things that I have been blessed with. I know I have a purpose, I know that I can not wait for the rest of my life, and I am excited to see what each day holds for me...it sure is an interesting journey, this life, and I want to do all that I can in the time that I have been given.
