First dance

ooooh it's about that time In all the recent craziness, I completely forgot to tell you all about a special moment (or couple of moments) on the wedding day!!
Moment #1
My dear sweet daddy made a slide show of pictures of me and my maaaannnnnn from birth to now...it was beautiful. At one point I went to practice my little song with Taylor, and when I came out, Babe was sitting on the couch in front of the televison where it was playing, with tears in his eyes, on his face and as we walked out to the car together to get something he explained his very personal, incredibly sweet reasons for his tears. I was and continue each and every day to be in awe of him. I am so grateful that I married a man who is so comfortable with himself, and his feelings that he can do things like that.
Moment #2
Babe and I had our first dance to "Marry Me" by train, and it was wonderful. After that I had my dance with my Daddy. I picked the song "In My Arms" by Mark Wills. It's the perfect song for a Daddy-Daughter dance, and especially for me and my dad. He always tells me a story about when I was a little girl and he used to rock me to sleep and says "do you remember when you were little and I used to hold you in my arms..." and so as I'm sure you can imagine it was an emotional thing already, but toward the end of the song he pulled Christian back out onto the dance floor and had him dance with me again and said "these are your arms now."At which point, I of course began to cry....
I'll never, NEVER forget that moment...
...and it just keeps getting better!

Engaged to be MARRIED!!!

...My Babe says that's the proper term, but no matter how you choose to say it I'M GETTING MARRIED!!
This is how it happened:
Pretty much every time Christian comes over he texts me to let me know that he's here and I get excited and run out to meet him, it started a couple of months ago and it's fun so it stuck. Last night it was the same thing, EXCEPT when i got outside and looked around the corner my car looked like this...
and my wonderful, amazing, handsome man was on one knee! I couldn't stop jumping up and down, he says that it took me exactly three jumps to get down the stairs and over to him, but i think that's a bit of an exaggeration :) maybe not, it's a little hazy, but when I got over to him, he opened the ring box, and asked me to marry him!! I continued to jump up and down in his arms, and when he got a hold of me and I couldn't jump any more I kept kissing him and doing the feet thing, you know what I'm talking about, the happy feet thing, like this little guy...

...eventually he said sooooo was that a yes?  and I said, YES, YES, YES, YES!! I couldn't be happier, and it couldn't have been more perfect!! About two minutes after he slipped the ring on my finger Taylor and Kara pulled into the driveway, they sure do have perfect timing!! They were excited and water-eyed just like me. Lucky enough, they even took pictures, cause I was way to caught up in everything to do it myself :) We went to BJ's for dinner (thank you kara!) to celebrate, and you better believe we treated ourselves to a white chocolate macadamia nut pazuki-gotta have a treat sometimes!

AND SO to sum it all up: I AM MARRYING THE MOST AMAZING MAN THAT I KNOW, ON DECEMBER 18TH, 2010 in the SAN DIEGO TEMPLE!!!! I am RIDICULOUSLY excited and I fell so blessed to be able to spend eternity with my best friend!
